Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 a meeting of the VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Village of Manley, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Village Community Center, 115 Cherry Street, Manley, NE. The agenda for such meeting, which is kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk in the Village Community Center during normal business hours.

If you have a concern that you wish addressed, contact the Village Clerk (402-234-2304) no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

On the November 6, 2018 General Election Ballot, there will be two (2) open positions on the Manley Board of Trustees.

If you are interested in running for one of these seats on the Board, you must file a Candidate Filing Form with the Cass County Election Commissioner by August 1, 2018.

This form may be obtained from the Cass County Election Commissioner’s Office at 201 Main Street in Plattsmouth or from the Manley Village Office at 115 Cherry Street. If you have any questions, you may call the Commissioner’s Office at 402-296-9309 or the Village Office at 402-234-2304.

If you know of any one, or groups that would like to perform during the day, please let us know.  So far the main events planned are a Pancake Feed (Manley VFD) an Adult Kickball Tournament, Kids Kickball Tournament, Craft Show with over 30 vendors,, Bob Scott Car Show, Smoked Ribs, Turkey Legs, Pork Squeals, Consessions all day with pie/ice cream. Cupcake Decorating Contest, Coloring Contest, other assorted games and drawings. Shuttles running all day.

Contact any of the Manley Village Board members or Village Clerk with any questions or concerns. If you know of anyone that needs community service hours, this would be a fun day and also help out.
