Notes from your Village Office
Village office will be closed on September 30th. I have accepted another job which has created some scheduling conflicts. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Be on the lookout for Office hours to be adjusted in October to include an evening each week.
Changes for water bills beginning October 1 for residential customers due to Nebraska Legislature passing LB26. Residential customers will have a new basic service charge of $48.01 and pay water usage at $3 per 1,000 gallons of usage. Residents no longer need to add the tax. New labels for the cards will be coming in the mail.
ATV/UTV and Golf carts need to be licensed through the Village of Manley. If you have a recreational vehicle please email me. An Application and copy of rules will sent directly to your inbox. Completed applications along proof on insurance and fee can be placed in the water box. Let’s get these done before a late fee is added.
The Village Board has requested everyone check their trees. Yearly maintenance is as important as yard clean up. Keeping limps trimmed away from roadways keeps other residents and visitors from damaging vehicles.
Village office will be Closed on Thursday 9-23 and 9-30

BLOOD AND PLATELET DONORS NEEDED
Wildfires, record-breaking heat and a busy hurricane season can also impact the nation’s blood supply. On top of the toll extreme weather events take on the lives of millions, disasters can cause blood drive closures or prevent donors from being able to give safely. Eligible donors can help overcome the critical need for blood and ensure blood is readily available by making an appointment to give by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device.
